Night out in Sunderland

And so it begins… for the next year or so practically all of my friends are turning thirty. Kicking things off was my friend Elisa, who celebrated with a cocktail making masterclass at Revolution. The class was great fun, and many cocktails were made; even more were drunk. Afterwards there was some dancing, but this part is all a bit hazy.

Ealing Night Out

After going to RIFT’s Macbeth on my actual birthday, I fancied a restful weekend so I went out in Ealing with a couple of friends. We went to lots of places we had never been before – including Chimichanga on the High Street, Crispin’s Wine Bar, and the bar at the new Hotel Xanadu, which was much less expensive than it looked from the outside. We ended up in the pub that used to be O’Neill’s, but went back home pretty early, because we are getting old, and we were tired. I did have a bit of a hangover the next day – I really shouldn’t drink wine all night these days…

Club de Fromage

One of the things on my list of “things to do in London” was to go clubbing, so I was happy to finally sort a night out with some friends. We went to Club de Fromage in Islington and had a great time dancing to cheesy classics. We left at three, caught the night bus and got home as the sun was rising. I went to bed and didn’t wake up until 6 pm on Sunday – oops!
